Jessup Unveils New Ground Graphics Material: SideWalk™ Just In Time For Back-To-School (And More) Graphics

MCHENRY, ILL. (PRWEB) August 1, 2020

Jessup Manufacturing Company today introduced the newest member of its Print-N-Go™ family of graphics media: Jessup SideWalk™, a durable, outdoor film with anti-slip properties and a permanent adhesive for ground graphics.

“This is the perfect product for customers who right now are helping schools, sports teams, retailers and businesses in general by printing recovery graphics they need to reopen,” said Robert A. Jessup, president and CEO of Jessup Manufacturing. Jessup is headquartered in McHenry, IL with plants in McHenry and Lake Bluff, IL. Jessup added “recovery” graphics include social distancing and safety messages related primarily to the COVID-19 pandemic.

SideWalk™ is engineered specifically for ground applications that need to stand-up to pedestrian traffic. The acrylic adhesive will stick and stay stuck to asphalt, concrete, stairs, stone, metal and other walking surfaces. The grit surface is certified to ASTM-D2047 as well as NFSI B101.1 and B101.3 standards for anti-slip safety. The material is printable with UV ink jet, solvent, eco-solvent, latex and screen.

Jessup credited his internal team of engineers, chemists and technicians for their ability to respond quickly to customer demand for this type of product. “What this team does in response to customer requests is amazing,” Jessup said. “Customers came to us with a very specific idea on a material they believed would not only help them remain competitive, but also help slow the pandemic spread. The team responded remarkably to get the SideWalk product to market.”

Jessup Print-N-Go™ materials are unique in that they require only one-pass on a printer and they are ready to display. No laminations or other coatings are required to protect the graphics, making SideWalk™ and the entire family ideal large-format advertising, way finding, signage, and promotional applications such as sporting events, parades, point-of-purchase, stair and parking lot campaigns, and more.  Inventory is currently available.
