McHenry, Ill. – Jessup Manufacturing Company, the maker of award-winning Asphalt Art® non-slip media for point-of-purchase advertisements and street art, announced the introduction of SoftWalk®, a versatile expanded foam mesh media for floor, wall and pool graphics. SoftWalk® debuted at the SGIA 2014 show in Las Vegas October 22-24, 2014. SoftWalk® can be digitally printed with UV inks for a wide range of applications, including retail and restaurant advertising, decorative wall and floor coverings, floating pool advertisements, wayfinding signage, and large scale street and building art.
“SoftWalk® appeals to designers because it is a unique material with more texture and weight than other printable mesh products,” said Rob Jessup, President and CEO of Jessup Manufacturing Company. “Printers like SoftWalk® too because it’s easy to use in flatbed and roll-to-roll equipment and looks great when printed.”
SoftWalk® is the latest addition to the product line of specialty media for floors and walls manufactured by Jessup Manufacturing Company. The line includes Asphalt Art®, a non-slip media that conforms to uneven outdoor surfaces such as asphalt, cement and paving bricks; SportWalk®, a non-slip textured vinyl for short term sporting and cultural events; CatWalk®, a resilient non-slip media that can be used in wet areas such as pools and saunas; ClearWalk®, a clear resilient non-slip media; and TexWalk®, a non-slip media for floors and walls that has a repositionable adhesive.
