1956
Paul S. Jessup opens the company out of a 2-car garage; soon expanding
into the current McHenry IL plant
1973-74
Robert W. Jessup purchases the company from his father and continues
to expand the McHenry, IL facility.
1983-88
Jessup acquires Weltrim Inc. based in Addison, Illinois, and Kencote
Laminations (renamed Midwest Coating) in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
1992-96
As Jessup strategically expands its operations, a new thermal oxidizer
is purchased and installed. The assets and equipment of Plastic Convertors,
Inc. is acquired.
1998
Jessup purchases Camel Lot. Midwest Coating receives the Jessup name
as the company joins the worldwide web.
2000
Jessup receives ISO 9002 Certification, 6th addition
2001
Robert A. and Scott Jessup purchase the company from their father
2004
Jessup receives ISO 9001: 2000 Certifications
2005
Jessup Europe BVBA is established.
2006
Jessup celebrates 50 years in business and purchases the assets and equipment
of Vy-Coat. |
